Caltex is a positive and optimistic brand that celebrates the driver and the drive. In its new campaign, Caltex is now using the tagline, “Enjoy the Journey.” This is a fresh, simple and easy sentiment that talks about Caltex’ spirit and its role in the customers’ lives. Through its products, services and the things Caltex does for the community—Caltex wants to make sure that it is helping its customers enjoy life’s journey.
It’s a celebration of spirit; it’s a rallying cry that Caltex wants to push forward together. It is recognizing that Caltex (and every Filipino) has an effect on one’s journey in life and Caltex wants to make sure that its effect is a positive one.
So now, Caltex asks you: “Are you positively affecting your friend, your loved one, your family, or your community in his/her/ their own journey in life? Or it can be the other way round, how are they positively affecting you in your own journey in life?”
Tell your story. It can be about a memorable road trip that you had, or about your journey with your loved one or family, the road you took to self-discovery, or any other form of journey that you may have had. The concept of “Enjoy the Journey” does not necessarily mean or is limited to physical travel.
No branding is required in the rendition of the entry, and absence of branding will not be taken as a point against the entry. However, incidental advertising of Caltex is welcome as long as this is done artistically and within context.
