 Animahenasyon 2013 poster design contest extended until August 31!

 

   The Animahenasyon 2013 poster design contest is extended until August 31, 2012. Application forms and complete competition mechanics can be downloaded from Animahenasyon’s website at  www.animahenasyon.com.  Submission of entries can be delivered personally to the ACPI secretariat’s office or sent via courier mail.

 

  Lock and load your paintbrushes and pen tablets, squeeze out your creative juices, and come up with an artwork that best communicates the dynamism and activeness of animation, and the spirit of Filipino culture and identity. The artist of the chosen artwork will win an all access festival pass worth PhP 5,000 plus the prestige of being the poster designer of  Animahenasyon  2013. The winning design will be unveiled and its designer will be announced during the awarding ceremonies of  Animahenasyon 2012 on November 29 at De La Salle, College of Saint Benilde, School of Design and the Arts Campus, Manila.

 

   Animahenasyon  is the flagship project of the Council that features the different animation works of both aspiring and professional animators in the country through a competition. It aims to encourage Filipino animators to engage their best in shelling out their talent and creativity through their masterpieces. The annual Philippine animation festival also serves as a venue for Filipino animators to present their world-class ideas, to open doors of opportunities, and a chance for them to meet and be inspired by the finest names in the industry.

 

  The 6th Animahenasyon, Philippine Animation Festival will be held at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, School of Design and the Arts Campus in the City of Manila on November 26 to 29, 2012.

 

 ACPI’s vision is to become the center of excellence for animation and content creation services through building a more efficient and effective collaborative business practices that will elevate the country’s economy and culture. Its mission is to make the Philippines as the prime provider of animation and content creation services to the global marketplace.

 

  ACPI is a non-stock and non-profit organization whose member companies specialize mainly in, but not limited to, 2D, Flash or 3D animation. It aims to promote the animation industry globally with the intention of creating an identity for the Philippines to be considered amongst the preferred countries that service the animation industry.
