Animahenasyon is an annual Filipino Animation festival that features the different animation works of both aspiring and professional animators in the country through a competition.

Also part of the festival is the animation conference, workshops, and exhibit on the life and works of the lifetime achievement awardee.

Animahenasyon serves as a venue for Filipino animators to present their world-class ideas, to open doors of opportunities,  and a chance for the, to meet and be inspired by the finest names in the industry.

Animahenasyon is the Filipino equivalent of ANIMAGINATION, as a result of combining the words “animation” and“imagination” (imahenasyon).  It is also about the image (imahe) that we want to portray as a nation (nasyon) of animators to the world. But Animahenasyon is more than just a showcase of what the Filipino animators can do.

An industry forum about the growth prospects, trends, and opportunities in the animation industry will also be part of Animahenasyon 2016. The forum targets to invite industry leaders and players of the animation industry.

The festival also boasts of its exhibit area where ACPI member studios and partner companies showcase their services to investors.

All pre-selected entries for the animation contest and existing original works of the association’s members are programmed for daily screenings from November 24-27, 2015. Also, selected animated works from around the world will be shown through partnerships with the different embassies and cultural agencies.
